The Long Ride To Sturgis 2008

This video cracks me up. These guys are even more hardcore then the trailer queens!!! LMAO!! Too funny...I'd classify this guy as a RUB. (Rich Urban Biker)

Anonymous - RUB Rich urban biker, a derisive term coined by Harley-Davidson enthusiasts to refer to executives, lawyers and other professionals who buy expensive motorcycles as status symbols.

D-Day...too funny huh? :)~

Ms. IHG,

Are you making fun of the way I go to the big ralleys or my fancy bike sitting in my living room?

Got to wonder if that guy really knows what hardcore even means. Last I checked a hard core biker don't wear flip flops :-)

"hardcore" how ridiculous!!

I wonder if he's really seriously saying that or if it's tongue in cheek...no...he's probably serious!

Sheesh, people, you can't recognize sarcasm when you hear it? A guy in a private jet trying to keep a straight face, saying "...when you're hardcore like we are, you just gotta make do with what you have...". HA!

I think the jokes on everyone else - looks like a pretty civilized way to travel to me (albeit not exactly green... fairly high carbon footprint per person!!). Given the guy's smirk, I doubt he's feeling real bad about not being as "tough" as most of the "bikers" riding in from all directions.

So I have a Harley. Where the hell is all the money I am suppose to have!

I have heard guys talk about how hard it is to get to Sturgis too. WTF. I had to ride over 2000 miles each way and every day was like a dream every mile of the way. Sturgis itself really isn't anything. But the ride there? Now that is where the memories of Sturgis are for me.

Funny none the less. Some folks have it hard now don't they. lol.

Dave - Since I'm so "IN" with HD now I'll put in a good word for ya! :)~

Riding there was the best part...I can't imagine in a million years just flying in or trailering the bike there. I mean...come on...what's the point?
