Funny Little Beard Story

FLHX Dave asked if women like beards. Well this chick does! Love them actually and no they don't scare me.

Anyway...Funny little beard story. Dan and I were in Deadwood and we had gotten a cup of coffee. I kept seeing this cool looking dude with this very cool beard.(no I didn't get a pix...dammit!) Well anyway we were sitting on this bench, people watching as we drank our cups of Joe and this cool looking dude walks by with the amazing beard. I had to tell him...I had to...just had to....so I open my mouth and say..."You have the best beard that I've ever seen." He looked at me and laughed and said, "Thanks." Then he looked at Dan and said..."You better stop shaving sonny!"

LMAO! Too funny! Love it!

HAHAHA LMAO. Good for you. Heat in Vegas sux for beards so mine got a serious trimming a few weeks ago.

It's funny... Many women I know out here don't like them. The women I know in the midwest and south like them. Ah well. I am keeping mine regardless.

So, has Dan quit shaving yet???

That's not true.......
I never called him sonny ;]

That is funny! Harley had a nice little goatee to go along with his stache.

He shaved it cause he's starting to call on future business customers with his job, and he thought it was best if he looked a little more clean shaven. Pffffft! I miss it!

Throw away the razors Dan! ;)

LMAO. Just gotta love quick witted people. So, you'll have to keep us posted on Dan's progress toward beardom.

I dunno. I have never met a woman who liked a beard...well, except when you are going down on....errrr...you know what i meant.

So here is my next question. Do women really care about whether a dude shaves his twig and berries?

Damn, and here I thought the beard would keep women from bothering me...pffftttt...wait, now that I think about it, I guess it does! lol.

For a man, especially a man who can grow a full beard, he generally will not give a rip whether anyone else likes or approves of his beard. Having said that, there are plenty of men who can grow beards, but don't, and should, because their face looks too damn homely without facial hair. There are those men who try to grow beards and end up looking like cancer patients. This practice should be outlawed. And then there is a small group of women who have enough facial hair to qualify for a small beard. I spot many of those women in Wal Mart and on the LPGA tour. I think this practice should be allowed, because sometimes its fun to laugh at ugly things.

As of right now Dan will not be growing the beard. It saddens me but yet I understand. I will just have to lurk at other men's beards for the time being. :)

FLHX_Dave - twigs and berries...too much hair is a bad thing down there. OMG...did I just answer that..yep. WOW!

Fricken Hilarious--trying to imagine a bearded Dan--not sure if I'm laughing at the story or my imagination.

LOL, thanks I really needed that! As for me, my facial hair is much more salty than peppery and my wife says I look evil with a goatie...

Twigs and berries are always taste better in the low grass country. ;)

(and yes Steph... we did just answer that!) ROTFLMAO!!!

I feel the same way. When I get that far again... Des Moines is just around the corner!
(Since that's home, and my parents just moved back there, it will be a happening thing)

Sounds like a date Sista! ;)

My beard is all white now. I could stand in for Santa except I cut four inches off not long ago.

Big D stole my damn line! I guess that's what I get for showing up late.

My soon-to-be ex hated my stache and goatee, but I refused to shave it off. No love lost there lol. Now that I don't have to worry about her anymore, I'm pretty thrilled that Susan loves my facial hair. It's such a nice feeling now I just about can't describe it.

Twig and berries? Geez Dave I didn't know...I'm sorry man.

For me, I like to keep my banana and plums smooth and ripe for picking, although I've been thinking of doing a little "Hitler" on top for sort of a landing strip. Did I say that out loud?? Oh, and Lady R..."low grass country"...I damn near blew soda out of my nose on that one - thanks a lot! LOL!!!
