Garage-Girls announces 2014 Ultimate Biker Makeover winner sponsored by GEICO Motorcycle

(Mitchell,SD) September 24, 2014 – Garage-Girls recently announced that Chris Gibbany of Harrison, Arkansas, is the winner of its 2014 Ultimate Biker Makeover, sponsored by GEICO Motorcycle.  Gibbany was among 84 contestants who sent in a 600-word essay describing why they are most in need of a Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover. Her essay touched upon her sacrifices and commitment to “hunker down” and put herself through school in order to open new career opportunities.
“We received more submissions for the Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover Contest than for any other contest. It was a definitely a challenge choosing a winner among so many great entries,” said Garage-Girls marketing coordinator, Sara Liberte.  “We want to thank GEICO as well as our other sponsors for their commitment to make this contest possible. Frankly, there would be no Garage-Girls Ultimate Biker Makeover Contest without their continued support.”
As the 2014 Ultimate Biker Makeover winner, Gibbany will be able to enjoy a multitude of prizes that include: a new wardrobe of shoes from Harley-Davidson Footwear Footwear; a brand new jacket, matching gloves and a helmet from Roland Sands and J&P Cycles; a cleaning kit from Wizards Products; a case of Synthetic oil from Spectro Oils; clothing from Hijinx Apparel; a set of AVON Tires; and saddlebags from Mustang Seats.
“Chris puts a lot of miles on her motorcycle and we want to make sure she has the latest and safest riding equipment,” said Liberte. “We are happy that she will receive a brand new jacket, matching gloves and a helmet to help get her down the road safe.”

About the Ultimate Biker Makeover Contest
Contestants were encouraged to submit a 600 words or less essay – describing why they are most in need of a biker makeover. Submissions were narrowed down to the final four by selected judges from Garage-Girls. From there, the judges had to decide who they felt most deserved the Ultimate Biker Makeover and would have the opportunity to take home all the prizes.

Make sure you check out the interview that I did with Chris back in 2012.  She is one awesome biker chick!  So very happy that Chris was the winner of this contest!  Good things happen to good people!  Congratulations, Chris!
